This seems familiar

Sigh. This is why our house cannot have Christmas trees. (Just imagine TWO cats instead of one.)

I feel your pain, Simon. I really do. :/

  1. *L0L* My Nana's cat was the same, it was amusing to see how the kitty "decorated" -or undecorated- the tree each year.

  2. As someone who only has one dog - I think that's adorable. I've never had cats.

  3. Totally understand that. And it pretty much illustrates why my tree is about 2 feet tall with no ornaments.

  4. *giggling* My two cats usually sleep under it and occasionally eat the bows from the gifts and love to "help" with any low hanging ornaments but this year it's the puppy! Argh! She's already 45lbs and barely 5mo old. Then she's been in an ecollar (cone) for the past few weeks recovering from sugery so I was trying to coax her back downstairs and into her crate with a tennis ball and she gave me this look. This thoughtful "I hear the words coming out of your mouth but I'm not sure what you're asking for" look. And then she ran into the living room and I heard a rustle and began to run for the steps thinking "crap there goes my tree" and she comes bounding back to the top of the steps with a big shiny brown Christmas ball (shatterproof thank you Walmart!) in her mouth. She was so pleased with herself for fetching the "other" ball. ha!

Thanks for the vid Julie. I'm pleased to say that IS NOT my kitties this year. :)

  5. This is hilarious! I've never had cats, but I've heard the horror stories of Christmas trees. And my sister's ferret is similar. Lol thanks for the laugh!
